Locals were thrilled and came in large numbers for the grand opening of King’s International University new campus. They were excited at the prospects of new opportunities and pathways for their futures. The congregration was addressed by the Hon. Minister Penisimani Fifita, Minster of Education and Training, Dr. Bernard Malik the Chancellor, Emeli Pouvalu, the Pro Chancellor and Mr. Vivian Lobo, Operations Manager.
The service began with thanks to the Lord led by Rev. Dr. Tevita Palefau, Former Minister of Education and Assitant President for FWC Education. The choir from St. Andrew’s School Band sang in praise and worship with celebrations through the evening for this momentous occassion.
King’s International University is fully approved and recognised by the Ministry of Education and Training of the Kingdom of Tonga.
Her Royal Highness Princess Royal Salote Mafile’o Pilolevu Tuita of the Kingdom of Tonga is the Patron of the University.
